  1. I love how eerie you made this, the combination of the editing, sound, and use of words really turned something as mundane as a fan into something that could feature in some kind of psychological thriller. Almost makes you wonder what happens next.

  3. Really well done. I felt like it was the beginning to a Nine Inch Nails music video. I love how very ominous and overbearing you made your fan. Some things to consider in the future would be to let your video speak for itself instead of explicitly putting text; although in this instance you were right on the edge of whether or not that works. Also, while it was cool to hear the air being pushed by your fan, I could hear the microphone peaking so you might consider getting a cheap pop screen or a "dead cat" mic cover to put in front of your mic to keep that from happening again.

  4. I love the creativity of using the fan in room with low lighting. Brings back memories of a movie call Blade Runner. The only thing missing is steam. The use of sound and text and use of video skipping really gave it life. I see the fan being a robot with one eye monitoring the room. Awesome job

  5. Nice work ! I like your exposure shot. If you can fix the text "Sleep" in middle that would be awesome. Everything looks nice and what I would say on the sound part would be try making it smoother or minimize the sound (00:35 ).

  6. I like the visual transformation used in the piece, the rotating fan over time and observation becomes more like an eyeball sweeping the room, and the short jumps to black and auditory skips improve on the uncomfortable feeling provided by the eye motif.

I'm not entirely sure about the use of text inside of the video though. It's probably just my taste, but I feel that it detracts from the experience that is being projected to the viewer.

  7. Who knew a fan could be so fascinating. I really like the angles of the shots, the fact that it is B&W, and the repeated frames to create vibration.

  8. Nice camera angles. The editing seems to be well done. The clips have ideal lengths and keeps you captivated throughout. Even with the constant black, the various perspectives show a lot of ways an object can be lit.

  9. This was really cool, at first i thought how could you make a video just about a fan, and you did a great job. It was really creepy and the music added so much to the piece.
